The Flibbertigibbets And The Funky Yoghurt Μηνάς Λιάκος - Minas Liakos: guitar Στέλιος Προβής - Stelios Provis: bass Σεραφείμ Γιαννακόπουλος - Serapheim Giannkopoulos: drums 1984.Τρεία πιτσιρίκα εμφανίζονται για πρώτη φορά στον πλανήτη Γη ορμώμενα από διαφορετικά μαιευτήρια. Σιγά σιγά μεγαλώνουν, γνωρίζονται μέσω κοινών γνωστών κατά τη διάρκεια του σχολείου και τελικά γίνονται αχώριστοι φίλοι κατά τα τελευταία χρόνια αυτού. Ο καθένας έχει τα δικά του ιδιαίτερα ακούσματα, τις δικές του ανησυχίες, τα δικά του ερεθίσματα, αλλά όλα αυτά κατά ένα μαγικό τρόπο υπακούουν στις αρχές μιας κοινής και για τους τρεις τους αισθητικής γύρω από τη δημιουργία και την εξέλιξη της μουσικής. Τελικά μετά από αρκετό καιρό θητείας τους σε διάφορες μπάντες που ακόμη διατηρούν και ουδεμία σχέση με τη jazz έχουν, αποφασίζουν κατά τη διάρκεια κάποιων καλοκαιρινών μουσικών συνευρέσεων στο σπίτι του Μηνά να ιδρύσουν τους "the flibbertigibbets and the funky yoghurt". Σκοπός του γκρουπ είναι η δημιουργία δικών τους μουσικών συνθέσεων μέσα από τις οποίες εκφράζονται τα συναισθήματα, οι ανησυχίες τους αλλά και τα βιώματά τους. Έτσι καταήγουν σήμερα να δημιουργούν μια αυτοσχεδιασμικά προσανατολισμένη pop μουσική, ή αλλιώς μια jazz με pop διάθεση, μια be-pop, η οποία σκοπό έχει να αγγίξει, να συγκινήσει, άλλες φορές να χαροποιήσει και σε καμία περίπτωση να εντυπωσιάσει. 1984.Three nippeps appear for the first time on planet earth, all starting from different maternity clinics. Time passes by, they grow up, meet each other through common acquaintances during school and they finally become inseparable friends at their final years as high-school students. Everyone has his own special hearings, his own restlessness, his own stimulants, but all these obey in a magic way the principles of a common aesthetics that all three of them have developed about the creation and evolution of music. Finally, after serving their duties in several bands which they still keep and have nothing to do with jazz, they decide during some summer jam sessions in Minas's house to found "the flibbertigibbets and the funky yoghurt". The band's goal is the creation of its own musical compositions through which they have the chance to express their emotions, their anxieties and their experiences.
