Paris Strother   cv

     Paris Strother has been playing piano professionally since the age of 13, having started lessons at the young age of 2. She has performed not only in her hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, but also around other major US cities. She has also had the opportunity to perform internationally in the Netherlands, Russia, and Greece. Paris' talent has garnered her much attention and many awards, including articles in media both local and international, an institutional endowment from Berklee College of Music and many other arts scholarships and awards. She attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music, studying performance, film scoring and contemporary writing.

     The Musicians of the Paris Strother Quartet bring many different styles to the group- including gospel, r&b, rock, soul and funk, and these styles show through in their new flavor of jazz, bringing the audience a flavorful and fascinating combination of sounds.
