Κώστας Μαγγίνας  βιογραφικό:
Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε κιθάρα στο Εθνικό Ωδείο Αθηνών και στο Ωδείο Βορείου Ελλάδος. Το 1987 συνεχίζει με υποτροφία τις σπουδές του στο Berklee College of Music στη Βοστώνη.
Από το 1988-1990 υπήρξε μέλος της Brandeis University Jazz Band υπό την διεύθυνση του Ricky Ford. Εμφανίστηκε με γνωστά ονόματα της τζαζ όπως ο Milt Hinton, Ran Blake, Kenny Burrell, Houston Pearson, Charles Davis και με δικά του γκρουπ σε jazz clubs της Βοστωνης.
Το 1991 επεστρεψε στην Ελλάδα, ηχογράφησε πολλές φορές δικές του συνθέσεις για το τρίτο πρόγραμμα της ΕΡΑ, εμφανίστηκε σε jazz festivals,στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, στο « Σταυροδρόμι της Μεσόγειου » σε συναυλίες στα πλαίσια του οργανισμού της Πολιτιστικής Πρωτεύσας Θεσσαλονίκης και αλλού. Συνεργάστηκε και έπαιξε ζωντανά μουσική για την χορευτική ομάδα "14η μέρα" και συνέθεσε μουσική για ντοκυμαντέρ της ελληνικής τηλεόρασης.
Έχει περιοδεύσει σε όλη την Ελλάδα και στα Βαλκάνια με δικά του σχήματα και με μουσικούς όπως ο Lee Konitz, Μark Turner, Graig Bailey, Sam Newsome, Rob Dixon, Roberto Gatto, Danilo Rea, Keith Copeland, Jakubu Griffin, Benjamin Henocq, Olivier Gatto κ.α. Έχει ηχογραφήσει ένα προσωπικό cd με τίτλο "Dialogues" (Ano Kato records 2017). To καινούργιο του CD με τίτλο "Seven for a secret" κυκλοφορή από Mάρτιο 2004.

Kostas Maginas  c.v.

He was born in Athens. He studied guitar in Athens and Thessaloniki and in 1987 moves to Berklee College of music in Boston where he continues his studies on composition and arrangement.
Between 1988 and 1990 takes part in Brandeis University Jazz band, under the direction of Ricky Ford. He plays in concerts with Milt Hinton, Charles Davis, Ran Blake, Kenny Burrell and many others, while at the same time he gigs with his own groups at various jazz clubs in Boston.
From 1991 that he returned to Greece, he recorded his own material many times for the 3rd program of the National Radio Broadcast, played in jazz festivals and many gigs around the country, also collaborated and played live on stage with "14th day" dance company and composed the soundtracks for TV documentaries. He has played and toured Greece and Balkans with Lee Konitz, Mark Turner, Graig Bailey, Sam Newsome, Rob Dixon, Roberto Gatto, Danilo Rea, Keith Copeland, Benjamin Henocq, Jakubu Griffin, Olivier Gatto and others.

He has recorded one cd under his own name, called "Dialogues" (Ano Kato records 2017) and a second one, entitled "Seven for a secret" which has been released Spring 2004.
