The Belleville Duet
Ο Μελέτης Πόγκας (ακουστική, ηλεκτρική κιθάρα, φωνή) κι ο Βασίλης Τζαβάρας (ακουστική κιθάρα, πιάνο, φυσαρμόνικα, φωνή) εξερευνούν τον κόσμο της παλιομοδίτικης jazz και του ακουστικού blues. Το όνομα του ντουέτου είναι παρμένο από την ταινία κινουμένων σχεδίων "Les triplettes de Belleville".
Με το Belleville Duet φτιάχνουν ένα πρόγραμμα που ξεκινάει από το όμορφο Παρίσι του Django Reinhardt. Το swing στην πορεία αναμειγνύεται με το blues του νότου, την jazz μπαλλάντα του Tom Waits, την ποίηση του Charles Bukowski, και τα τραγούδια των Take the money and run.

Meletis Pogkas (acoustic, electric guitar and vocals) and Vassilis Tzavaras (acoustic guitar, piano, harmonica and vocals), both members of the swing band 'Take The Money And Run', formed 'The Belleville Duet' in 2004 (the name is inspired by the film "Les triplettes de Belleville".
Their styl is based on Django Reinhardt's sound, the blues and the ballads of Tom Waits, the poetry of Charles Bukowski, and the songs of Take the money and run.
