Vicky Almazidu - Introduction:

Η πρώτη εμφάνιση στην Αθήνα μίας σημαντικής τζαζ φωνής, καταξιωμένης σε πολλά φεστιβάλ στην Ελλάδα και στα Βαλκάνια.
Θα παρουσιάσει τζαζ standards επιλογές αλλά και υλικό από το νέο δίσκο της με τίτλο: "Quiet Love" με συνθέσεις και συμμετοχή στο πιάνο του μεγάλου Βούλγαρου πιανίστα της τζαζ Milcho Leviev (έχει συνεργαστεί με Art Pepper, Billy Cobham, Al Jarreau, Don Ellis, Roy Haynes, Dave Holland, Peter Erskine, Airto Moreira, Joao Gilberto etc.)

It is the first appearance in Athens of an important voice in jazz, which succeeded in many festivals in Greece and the Balkans. She will present selections of jazz standards and also parts of her new cd entitled "Quiet Love", with compositions and participation on the piano of the great Bulgarian jazz pianist Miloch Leviev (he has cooperated with Art Pepper, Billy Cobham, Al Jarreau, Don Ellis, Roy Haynes, Dave Holland, Peter Erskine, Airto Moreira, Joao Gilberto, a.o.)
